This October, a team of Physio 1st runners will be participating in the BUPA Great Birmingham Run 2012.   Several Physio 1st therapists and staff are planning to take part in this year's half-marathon (13.1 miles) to  raise money for Acorn's Children's Hospice - they provide excellent care and support for underprivledged and disabled children within the West Midlands region, and is a charity close to the heart of many members of staff here at Physio 1st. For more information on the valuable work Acorns Childrens Hospice do, visit their website by clicking their logo below.     Each individual runner has a minimum target of £80 to raise, and are thereafter free to raise as much as possible; the overall aim is to raise over £1000 collectively. As a company, we are looking to raise a minimum of £500 to add to this total - all in all, we feel this is easily achievable. To put things into perspective, it costs approximately £750 a day  to provide adequate care and support, so the more we raise, the better! Please give generously and help support a fantastic local cause. How you can help:   To find out more details about the event and see the course/route, visit the BUPA Great Birmingham Run 2012 page. Head to our JustGiving team page and check back here for regular updates on how we are doing in training and how much we are raising!
